Your Mission Permits You to Act Bold.

The potential for community impact from the nonprofit industry is incredibly important to our society. The nonprofit industry takes on our community’s most serious issues: Inhumanity, inequality, substance abuse and health epidemics just to name a few.

Those engaged in NPO work – staff, board members, volunteers and donors –  are dedicated people working to solve BIG issues that take BOLD action. The Center for Community Impact wants you to know that your mission gives you permission to act bold. Your mission has no better chance of success than putting everything you’ve got into it. If your organization has been “playing it safe” out of fear of failure, go back to your mission and ask yourself if your organization is doing everything it can to generate impactful change. Embrace creativity, hard work and risk in the name of your mission.

Staff, board members, volunteers and donors: our challenge to you is to be bold, take risks and believe in yourself and your mission. And if your risks result in a failure, that is ok because as esteemed thought-leader Stephen Bartlett says “failure is feedback and feedback is knowledge and knowledge is power.” The only true failure is not living up to the true impact potential of your mission.

Be bold, believe and make a greater impact. – AGM
